6.2       Discuss the 2005 certification of appraisal, effective tax rate, and proposed property tax rate. (Stall)

6.3       Consideration and action to cancel the public hearing on property tax rate increase scheduled for September 19, 2005. (Stall)

6.4       Consideration and action to adopt a Resolution designating a representative and alternate to the Houston-Galveston Area Council 2006 General Assembly. (Edmonson)

6.5       Consideration and action to nominate a candidate for a position on the Board of Directors of the Harris County Appraisal District. (Edmonson)

6.6       Consideration and action to authorize the Mayor to apply for up to $45,000 in grant funds from the Bayou Country Housing Trust Fund to carry-out eligible housing and/or related services within the City of Shoreacres. (Edmonson)

6.7       Consideration and action to authorize the City Administrator to retain a turf and landscaping service to mow, edge and trim approximately 19 acres of public land. (Stall)

6.8       Discuss and action to adopt an Ordinance to regulate parking on public streets, public property, and private property. (Stall)

7.0       ADJOURNMENT

"The City Council of the City of Shoreacres reserves the right to adjourn into executive session at any time during the course of this meeting to discuss any of the matters listed above, as authorized by Texas Government Code Sections 551.071 (Consultation with Attorney), 551.072 (Deliberations about Real Property), 551.073 (Deliberations about Gifts and Donations), 551.074 (Personnel Matters), 551.076 (Deliberations about Security Devices) and 551.086 (Economic Development)."
