5.1       Consideration and approval of invoices. (Stall)

5.2       Consideration and action to designate a representative to the Southeast Texas Housing Finance Corporation (SETH) Board of Directors. (Stall)

5.3      Appointment of members to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board (Washington)

5.3.1    Mayor’s nomination to fill Position 5 of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board for a term of two-years beginning December 12, 2006 and ending January 31, 2008; and, Position 7 for a term of one-year beginning December 12, 2006 and ending January 31, 2008.

5.3.2    Consideration and action to ratify the Mayor’s nomination of members to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.

5.4       Consideration and action to adopt a Resolution consenting to a change in ownership interest in Texas and Kansas City Cable Partners, L.P. a cable television system with a continuing franchise agreement with the City. (Stall)

5.5       Consideration and action to adopt an ordinance granting to CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, LLC, the right, privilege and franchise to use the public rights-of-way and to use, license, or exploit the company’s facilities within the public rights-of-way to conduct and electric delivery business in the city and for such other business purposes as the company may desire from time to time, specifically including, but not limited to, the granting of access to those facilities for the delivery of broadband over power lines or similar service within the city. 5.6       Consideration and action to cancel the December 25, 2006 City Council Meeting. (Washington)

5.7       Executive Session: Discussion of annual employee performance appraisals and merit pay [closed meeting authorized by Texas Government Code Section 551.074, personnel matters]. (Washington)

5.8       Consideration and action to approve employee merit pay. (Washington)

6.0       ADJOURNMENT

"The City Council of the City of Shoreacres reserves the right to adjourn into executive session at any time during the course of this meeting to discuss any of the matters listed above, as authorized by Texas Government Code Sections 551.071 (Consultation with Attorney), 551.072 (Deliberations about Real Property), 551.073 (Deliberations about Gifts and Donations), 551.074 (Personnel Matters), 551.076 (Deliberations about Security Devices) and 551.086 (Economic Development)."
