The City Council of the City of Shoreacres, Texas met in Workshop Session on

Monday, August 7, 2006 at 6:30 p.m.
in the City Council Chambers of City Hall, 601 Shoreacres Blvd.,

Shoreacres, Texas, with the following present constituting a quorum:

                                                      Alderman      Vickie Ellis

                                                      Alderman      Sandi Lochner (7:04pm)

                                                      Alderman      Gerry Victor

              City Administrator / City Secretary      David K. Stall

                             And the following absent:      None

1.0       CALL TO ORDER / ROLL CALL:

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Washington at 6:43pm.

2.0       NEW BUSINESS

2.1       Discussion of the FY-2006/2007 General and Utility Fund Budgets. (Stall)

            City Administrator and Council discussed an overview of the budget process, budget calendar, a rough draft of budget, request from the Police Department for increased compensation for police officers, and several options for police vehicles.

7.0       ADJOURNMENT

There being no further business, Mayor Washington declared the meeting adjourned at 9:11pm.
