Annual Children’s Tree Decorating Event

For several years now the City has hosted a Christmas tree decorating get-together for children of Shoreacres. This year the event is on Monday, December 5, at 5pm in the old fire station adjacent to City Hall. This is where the kids can come and make ornaments for the City Hall Christmas tree. Then, after the annual Citizens’ Christmas Party, they can come get their crafts to take home for their own trees.

Annual Citizens’ Christmas Party

The City of Shoreacres has received credible word that Old Saint Nick will pay a pre-Christmas visit to City Hall on Tuesday, December 13! Surprisingly that’s the date of the Annual Citizens’ of Shoreacres Christmas Party. As in past years, this will be a covered dish event complete with the traditional Christmas Caroling Hayride! And, don’t forget that Santa will make a personal visit and listen to all the wishes of those little ones brave enough to sit on his lap.

The party begins at 6:00pm in the old fire station building adjacent to City Hall and Santa is scheduled to arrive at 6:30pm.

City Council Meetings

Shoreacres City Council meets at 7:00pm on the 2nd and 4th Monday each month (except December) at City Hall. Meeting agendas are posted outside City Hall before 5:30pm on the preceding Friday.
