The city's Police Department provides superior security with a minimal response time. House Watch and Vehicle Identification programs assure added protection to the Shoreacres residents. The House Watch program is for any citizen who will be away from their home for a period of time. If you are going to be away, please contact a member of our administration staff at city hall. The Vehicle Identification program consists of a Shoreacres sticker that should be placed on your rear window in the top left corner of your vehicle. You can obtain a sticker from city hall.

Sex Offenders Database

The Texas Department of Safety (DPS) has established a Web site as the official Internet source for Sex Offender Registration information. The DPS maintains files based on registration information submitted by criminal justice agencies including the Shoreacres Police Department and represents a statewide source of information on sex offenders required by law to register.

The information provided through their Web site is open record. It may be used by anyone for any purpose. However, it is your responsibility to make sure the records you access through this site pertain to the person about whom you are seeking information. Extreme care should be exercised in using any information obtained from this Web site. Neither the City of Shoreacres, the DPS nor the State of Texas shall be responsible for any errors or omissions produced by secondary dissemination of this information.

Changes in Sex Offender information including address should always be reported to the local law enforcement agency that the Sex Offender is registered with. The registering agency is listed in the specific Sex Offender Registration information.
