WATER & SEWER UTILITY
RATES
On November 1,2017, the city council raised water
and sewer rates through the adoption of Ordinance 2017-283. Those rates became effective
on November 1, 2017 and first appeared on the
December 2017 billing.
All water and sewer rates are based on the volume of
water used, measured in thousands.
The base rate (minimum billing) for residential
water and sewer customers is $43.00 per month plus
fees for trash collection and recycling. Sales tax
is collected only on the trash collection portion of
the bill.
When a customer exceeds 2,000 gallons of water use
in a billing cycle (month) an incremental charge is
added for each 1,000 gallons or portion thereof
above the first 2,000 gallons.
